Soft Medical Sensors
Human body is a dynamic, complex and interactive biological system. To reliably collect physiological and molecular signals without interferences, such as, from surrounding environment and motion artifact, we design noise-immune and self-adaptive sensors via innovations in sensing mechanisms and architecture designs.

Embodied Artificial Intelligence
To establish interation between our body and surrounding, networks of wireless battery-free sensors are used for whole-body mapping of electrical, mechanical, thermal and chemical activities. We develop electromagnetically functional clothing capable of establishing wireless power and data connectivity between multiple distant points around the body to create wireless battery-free sensor networks that can monitor our body wherever whenever.

Intelligent Manufacturing for Soft Electronics
To integrate advanced functionalities into a wearable platform, we exploit fundamental, engineering and algorithm innovations on manufacturing process. We are particularly interested in seamlessly incorporating wireless sensing, powering, and communication functionalities within soft, irregular and biocompatible objects, such as hydrogels, textiles and biomedical devices.
